Dear Pie Guru:

Yesterday, Thanksgiving Eve, I purchased at Earth Fare a Mystic Pie Crust for the first time [the artwork and crush-proof box caught my attention]. I have NEVER had a frozen pie crust as good as yours, two pies later I am hooked and will NEVER use another brand. I plan to buy more crusts tomorrow and make Turkey Pot Pie and I can't wait!!

Bourbon Pecan Pie

Ingredients:

3 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 cup Dark Karo Syrup
3 Tablespoons Bourbon Whiskey [I use Gentleman Jack Daniels]
1 cup chopped pecans

Beat eggs slightly.

Add all other ingredients and mix well. Pour filling into crust.
Bake 325 degrees for 40-50 minutes - or until filling just sets.
Allow to cool.
