Champlain Orchards is a family-owned and operated farm in Shoreham, Vermont. They grow Macintosh, Empire, Cortland and fifteen other delicious varieties of apples on 158 acres. They also press their own fresh, sweet apple cider. Their hilltop locations affords both prime apple growing land and spectacular views of Lake Champlain, the Adirondacks and the Green Mountains.

Bill Shur and his crew at the orchard processes, meaning peels and slices, all of our apples, which are grown on site. To assure maximum freshness the apples are harvested and then kept in cold storage until there are ready to made into pies. This partnership is one of the most important that Vermont Mystic Pie has because it assures that all of the value processing is returned right to the farm, a important economic consideration in these days of declining local agriculture.
